Productivity Placement Program

 The Australian Government allocates training places for recently redundant workers to undertake qualifications under Structural Adjustment Places (part of the Productivity Places Program).

Aust-Link programs bring together a number of learning opportunities, including:
 • Small group workshops
 • Tutorial and mentoring sessions conducted by skilled
   practitioners
 • Accessible written & audiovisual materials linked to curriculum
   and job activities
 • Opportunity for guided workplace practice and review.

Training we have available?

 • Certificate III in Road Transport
   (where you can gain a Truck Licence (you must have held a
   car drivers licence for at least 12months), Forklift Licence or
   Plant Operators card)

 • Certificate III in Warehousing & Storage
   (where you can gain a Forklift Licence or Order Picker card)
• Certificate III in Civil Construction (Plant operator)
   (where you can gain a Plant Operators card)

What does it cost?

If you are looking for work, the program is FREE!
PLEASE NOTE: The cost of your Truck Licence payable to VicRoads and the cost of the Forklift Licence payable to the Victorian WorkCover Authority is met by the student.

Am I eligible?

Eligible workers are those in receipt of a separation certificate or notice of redundancy.
PLEASE NOTE: Some other eligibility criteria apply. This is available from Aust-Link, your Employment Services Provider or from the Government website - www.deewr.gov.au.

How do I apply?
Apply and obtain a referral through either your:
 • Employment Services Provider
 • Australian Apprenticeships Centre
   (if you are an Australian Apprentice)
 • CDEP manager or supervisor
   (if you are a CDEP participant)
OR
 • If you are not registered with an employment service provider you will need to apply directly to Aust-Link.
